Brown Renaissance Cloak | Water-Resistant Cotton

Sale price$63.95

This brown Renaissance cloak is the outer layer that finishes a kit. Travelers across medieval Europe counted on a cloak fastened at the throat to keep off wind and rain. This one follows the same simple idea. Water-resistant cotton sheds light weather. Wear it at the faire, at reenactments, or on a cold evening walk.

Key Features

  • 🔶 Water-resistant cotton that handles drizzle and wind
  • 🔶 Adjustable neck closure for a secure fit
  • 🔶 Rich earthy brown that works with almost any period kit
  • 🔶 One size fits most with generous coverage
  • 🔶 Ships from the US. No 3-week wait before your event

Throw it over a tunic and trousers when the sun drops at the faire. The neck closure adjusts, so it sits right over a shirt or layered gear. Roll it up for the walk in. Pull it on when the weather turns.

Perfect For

  • ⚔️ Renaissance faires that run into cool evenings
  • ⚔️ Reenactments and LARP events in unpredictable weather
  • ⚔️ Medieval festivals and themed weddings
  • ⚔️ Finishing a full kit over a tunic and trousers

I was a little shocked that one of the strings to tie the cloak fell off after I tried it on one time. I was even using a brooch to clasp the cloak so there wasn't much strain on the string for more than a minute or two. Not a big deal, it was easy enough to sow back on. The make and quality of the material of the cloak is pretty great all in all.
